Face Masks - How we make them

As a small factory making and selling our own products we are suffering, like most businesses, from the effects of the Corona Virus pandemic.

We took the decision to make re-usable and washable face masks, using soft cotton fabric.

To make them we first lay up the fabric in multiple layers:

Then we cut the fabric using two different cutters - a hand cutter and a band knife:

Next step is sewing using industral Lockstitch and Overlock sewing machines:

After trimming off the loose threads, threading the ties and steaming using a garment press they are ready to be packed for shipment:
